The developer's 702MW Aiolos, 480MW Apollon and 318MW Notos projects – which Wpd says are slated to start being built in 2017 – all lie in offshore wind planning zones for which the BSH has said it will no longer pursue early licensing procedures.
Wpd doesn't provide details about how much it has already invested in those projects.
But the measure could also hit the 580MW Kaikas project, for which Wpd won a license in mid-2013 – and the only project within the area more than 100km from the shore that already has a permit.
