W2E will install the next-generation drive-train in its newly developed 3MW Harvester turbine, with a first unit slated to be commissioned by the end of2015.
"The journal bearing technology further improves the efficiency and profitability of the HybridDrive and W2E’s drive concept in the newly developed 3MW wind turbines,” says Winergy head of electrical systems Matthias Deicke.
