The “industrialised” design is built around symmetrical 80- to 120-tonne trussed steel modules that can be shuttled out, stacked and grouted in water depths of 20-50 metres and capped with a transition piece (TP).
Assembled at a development site, WindSea’s jacket would look much like any other quattropod, except for its perfectly vertical legs, through which piles run end to end from deep in the seabed up and into the TP.
