“We are not satisfied with the EEG reform; the government is carrying out a change in paradigms,” Andreas Wellbrock, managing director of offshore wind group and Windforce organiser WAB, said at the opening of the conference that ends on Thursday.

While a 45% renewable energy share as part of Germany’s electricity consumption by 2025 previously was thought as a minimum, the government in its reform proposal had set that as a ceiling now, Wellbrock complained.
