London-based Wind Ventures has bought the 32MW Auchencairn wind farm in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, and the 24MW Cemmaes III in Powys and 18MW Hirfynydd project in Neath Port Talbot, both in Wales.
The purchase boosts the capacity of Wind Ventures’ projects in planning to more than 100MW, says the UK company.
Wind Ventures expects to submit a further two planning applications this month, taking the total to 132MW.
