Vestas chief marketing officer (CMO) and senior vice president Morten Albaek will leave the wind turbine group at the end of June, the company confirmed today. Newspaper reports in Denmark said Albaek, a high-profile figure in the wind industry over recent years, will become CEO of an investment company. A Vestas spokesman confirmed Albaek has resigned and a process would begin to appoint a successor.
