Buffalo-based Sentient Science has agreed to validate the drivetrain for Adwen’s 8MW turbine with its DigitalClone computational testing software, according to an emailed statement. Adwen — Gamesa’s 50/50 offshore wind venture with France's Areva — did not reveal the terms of the deal.
