Siemens Gamesa won the first ever turbine order placed by renewables player Azure Power India as it prepares to equip a 346MW wind farm in the state of Karnataka.
The OEM is slated to supply 96 of its SG 3.6-135 machines for the project to be built with support under India’s SECI Hybrid and SECI XI tenders. Azure already has a portfolio of over 7.4GW
