Infinis – which operates 274MW of onshore wind and expects to add 135MW more by April 2017 – was the subject of a 2013 initial public offering by Terra Firma, but its shares have halved since then.

Private equity group Terra Firma has agreed to buy back the roughly one-third of Infinis it does not own, in a deal offering shareholders a 40% premium to yesterday’s closing price and valuing the developer at £555m ($855m).
