The study, which was launched by India’s Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Dr. Farooq Abdullah predicts that the Indian wind power sector could attract 475 bn Rs ($9.8 bn) per year.
“India is already an established force in the global wind energy markets, and yet, it has the potential to achieve so much more,” said GWEC Secretary General Steve Sawyer.
