Grid operator Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) reports that wind provided 11.7% of total system electric load of 347.52 million MWh, ahead of nuclear with 11.3%. Natural gas was the leading generation source at 48.3% followed by coal with 28.1%.
