Dong posted a net loss of DK12.1bn ($1.82bn) for 2015 after it booked DKr14.8bn of impairments against its fossil operations as the plunging oil price took its toll, but its operating profit (Ebitda) grew 13% to DKr18.5%.
The group said the latter was driven by “strong underlying growth” at its wind operations, which are set to be the future focus of its expansion plans.
