The order has been placed by German developer Nordwind Handels, and the agreement includes commissioning and a 10 -year service agreement.
Installation of the turbines will start during the fourth quarter of 2010 and be completed by early 2011. Beiersdorf-Freudenberg based Nordwind Handels is one of Vestas' biggest customers in Germany.
Vestas says that the order does not affect its previously stated expectations for 2010.
