The Danish OEM will deliver 100 of its V110 machines to an unnamed American customer from the fourth quarter of this year, in a deal that also includes a five-year service agreement.
The US has proved fertile ground for Vestas, where it booked 3.1GW of firm orders last year and is expecting further bounty following the late-2015 extension to the federal PTC incentive.
