The new V112 model is the third offshore turbine Vestas has released, following on the heels of the V90 (3MW) and the V80 (2MW). The Danish company says the new model it is capable of generating more power than any other turbine in the 3MW class, and delivers its optimal output in average winds speeds up to 9.5 metres per second.
