The Danish manufacturer will provide a complete maintenance package at the plants, which are located in the regions of Campania, Apulia, Sardinia and Basilicata.
The turbines consist of 110 of Vestas’ V90-3.0 MW, V90-2.0 MW and V52-850 kW machines.
The manufacturer says the renewed contract means it now has long-term service deals in place in Italy for about 1GW of capacity.
