This is Vestas’ second deal with Hanas New Energy, which placed an order for 49MW of turbines in April.
The new order is for 25 units of Vestas’ V90-1.8/2.0 MW turbine, which is designed for medium and low-wind sites.
The contract includes towers, delivery, transportation, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, and a two-year service and maintenance agreement.
The Chinese wind farm is located in Huianbao, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, with the turbines scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of 2010.
