Vestas singed a memorandum of understanding with local developer Zeya & Associates to explore a potential 32MW wind project in Myanmar’s Mon State.
The two companies also pledged to look at possible co-operation on future wind farm developments in the country.
Zeya & Associates said the tie-up with the wind OEM is a key part of its plans to enter the renewables sector.
