Prokon will deploy the turbines in its Krackow project in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. Delivery of the turbines is scheduled for the late 2011 and early 2012.
Prokon is one of Germany’s largest wind power producers, with an installed capacity of 385.9MW.
“For the Krackow site, with its 7.1 m / s wind speeds, the V112-3.0 MW is the right choice because it can optimise the wind conditions,” says Prokon managing partner Carsten Rodbertus.
