The Danish turbine group issued a statement responding to “information in the market” as reports suggested regular customer RES Americas will hand it the deal.
The company said: “If and when the project translates into a firm and unconditional order in accordance with Vestas' definition, Vestas will disclose a company announcement about this.”
RES Americas secured a power purchase agreement for 114MW from Deerfield earlier this year.
