The order is for 44 V100 1.8MW turbines and includes a 10 year service and maintenance contract. Delivery is scheduled for mid-2011 and commissioning is expected in late 2011.

Seattle based Ridgeline Energy is a subsidiary of Veolia Environment.

“We chose Vestas because their V100 design is well-suited to our Rockland project and because Vestas has a long-standing record of success in commissioning wind farms in the US,” said Pierre Rellet, executive chairman of Ridgeline Energy.
