A Vestas spokesman said the company is “in early stage discussions with the Egyptian authorities on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that could lead to closer collaboration in the future.
“Egypt has a great deal of wind energy potential, and we’re naturally interested in working with the authorities to build on that potential.”
