The Danish OEM – which is still investigating why the V112-3.0 MW came down – yesterday switched back on a single machine, which will be closely monitored by its technicians as they continue their inquiries.
The remaining 31 turbines at Lemnhult were taken out of service following the collapse, which caused no injuries but was the first such incident involving one of Vestas’ MW-class machines.
