The manufacturer will supply and commission five V112-3.3 MW turbines at the Puuska 2 wind project in the cold climate area of Tornio.
The turbines will be the first in Finland to commercially deploy the company’s Vestas De-icing System (VDS) technology.
Delivery is due in the second quarter of next year, with commissioning expected by the end of the quarter.
The contract with developer Rajakiiri includes a six-year service agreement.
