The rights for the already-consented Veja Mate project were originally owned by troubled German offshore group Bard, and were developed by another insolvent German developer, Windreich.

Veja Mate is near to the already commissioned 400MW Bard Offshore 1 wind park, about 90km north of the German island of Borkum and was originally planned for 80 5MW turbines.

CSM says it has also advised Canada's Northland Power in a deal announced earlier this month to buy an 85% stake in the Nordsee One, Two and Three projects from German utility RWE Innogy.
