Unveiling its full-year 2014 results, Vattenfall said it plans to invest a total of SKr9.1bn ($1.1bn) in renewable generation over 2015 and 2016.
The spending – which will mainly be in wind power – accounts for 82% of the utility’s total “growth investment” plans for the two years.
Vattenfall will in April move to a new corporate structure that will see wind power get its own business unit, led by current head of European renewables Gunnar Groebler.
