Net sales increased to SKr37.52bn ($4.41bn) from SKr34.73bn in the third quarter from the year-earlier period due to higher production volumes associated with the commissioning of new production plants.
That helped a return to a SKr1.6bn net profit, compared to a SKr18.1bn loss in the same quarter a year ago.
“Compared with a year ago, during the third quarter Vattenfall increased its underlying operating profit, improved its cash flow and lowered its debt.
