Developers must propose projects located in Oklahoma with a minimum 80MW nameplate rating and that can be in commercial operation by the end of 2018, PSO spokesman Stan Whiteford tells Recharge.
PSO, a subsidiary of American Electric Power, already has eight contracts to purchase 1.137GW of wind energy resource – 20% of the energy it delivers to 545,000 customers in eastern and southwestern Oklahoma.
