The Army Corps’ Galveston District office, whose jurisdiction includes state waters in the Gulf of Mexico where the projects would be sited, selected Atkins from among seven consultancies proposed by Baryonyx. Atkins is based in London, UK.
Baryonyx will pay Atkins for EIS consulting services but otherwise have no role in what is expected to be a two-year process.
