New Jersey-based Alpine Ocean Seismic Survey completed the survey work over almost two months. Results will form part of a Site Assessment Plan (SAP) that US Wind will submit to the US Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) in December, as required in the terms of the two leases.
BOEM will then conduct environmental and technical reviews of the SAP. Approval will be a green light for US Wind to install what it expects will be a meteorological lattice tower to measure wind and obtain metocean data over a period of years.
