The plan for the wind farm developed by West Coast Energy’s Carsington Wind Energy, near Carsington Water in Derbyshire, had been upheld by the planning inspector in September.
But the Peak District National Park Authority, which runs the nearby National Park decided to appeal against the decision, claiming it would have "a major impact on the landscape".
The wind farm is outside the boundaries of the National Park but it would be near the boundary.
