The group’s Legal & General Capital unit will provide up to 47.5% of the planned €250m ($273m) fund, which is run by a subsidiary of Ireland-based infrastructure group NTR.
The two partners said they “plan to grow the fund in order to create a platform for institutional investors with an interest in the clean energy sector, accelerating the development of this market”.
