The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) released the final figure today, along with confirmation that support under the outgoing Renewables Obligation (RO) scheme will be closed for large-scale solar next April.
As outlined in its draft plan, renewables will compete for 15-year CfD support in two ‘pots’.
Those DECC defines as “established” technologies, including onshore wind and solar, will vie for up to £65m, a £15m increase on the draft.
