The additional support will be awarded as of 2017/18 to so-called Pot 2 funding, which covers marine, some biomass and offshore wind projects, bringing the total CfD spending on these technologies to £260m.
The budget will remain £155m for delivery years 2016/17.
"Established technologies" including onshore wind and PV will also continue to bid for the previously allocated £50m budget for 2015-16, then rising to £65m.
