The country is planning measures including tax-breaks, customs exemptions and interest rate benefits to help promote renewables-focused manufacturing and wind power production, said the country’s Hurriyet Daily News.
Turkey has long been seen as one of the world’s most promising renewable energy markets.
The country wants to install at least 20GW of wind power by 2023, up from about 4GW now, out of a total planned national electricity capacity of 110GW.
