Expansion of the 96MW facility will involve addition of 18 Vestas V90 3MW turbines, which are expected to began commerical operation by the end of this year. The project is subject to regulatory and environmental approvals.
Once complete, the expanded Kent Hills is expected to provide 160,000 megawatt hours per year, enough electricity to meet the needs of approximately 9,000 homes.
