WF1 itself is fully available, stressed US floating wind specialist Principle Power, which was part of the WindPlus consortium that in autumn 2011 deployed the innovative semi-submersible in the Atlantic off Aguçadoura, near Póvoa de Varzim in northern Portugal, topped with a 2MW Vestas turbine.
