'The UK's offshore wind sector holds some great cards'

Huub den Rooijen, head of offshore wind at the UK’s seabed landlord The Crown Estate,  talks to Recharge about the sector's prospects at a time of big government cuts to the support on offer to the onshore and solar sectors.

We have a lot of uncertainty around in the UK renewables scene at the moment. As the UK’s seabed landlord how does The Crown Estate view what is currently happening?

It’s very clear the jury is still out for UK offshore wind because there hasn’t been any clear statement made on it by the government,  in contrast to other generating technologies.
