The project, which will involve developer Engie, telecom specialist KPN, and software outfits Peeeks and Senfal, will run the rule over using combinations of water pumping stations, cooling installations, combined-heat-and-power plants, recycled batteries, thermal boilers, and solar and wind farms to maintain supply and demand balances on the power network.
