“By then we plan to have between six and eight clients,” chairman Pércio de Souza told Recharge.

Tecsis currently exports 50% of its 4,300-blade output and sells the rest in Brazil. It has a maintenance company, WindCom, with offices in Spain and in the US.

Local and foreign clients include Alstom, GE, Gamesa and Acciona.

Founded in 1995 by Brazilian aerospace engineer Bento Koike, Tecsis has come a long way from its initial family-business structure.

Koike
