Through its local unit United Energies the company has been in talks with Brazilian government officials and local industrial sector companies in order to invest in a turbine assembly hub in the northeastern state of Piauí, one of Brazil's newest wind-frontier districts.
It said it has started talks to find a strategic partner in Brazil and expects to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in October.
