The projects are expected to attract investments of more than 240bn rupees ($5bn) in the state with a potential to create 6000-plus direct jobs, as part of the 'Make in India' campaign initiated by the country's government, said Suzlon.

The state government's initiative to scale up wind energy to 10GW is aimed at encouraging activity for local manufacturing, added Suzlon.
