Suzlon earlier this year cut 90 of its 300 workers in its Minnesota plant, which can produce 300 turbines per year. However the company is still installing a new turbine every two days, compared to a turbine every day a year ago.
Suzlon says it has almost completed a program to retrofit nearly 400 of its turbines with new blades, with only two fittings left to carry out.
