Under the terms of the turnkey deal, Suzlon will install 48 of its 2.1MW turbines in Beluguppa, Andhra Pradesh.
Its S111 machines — specially designed for low wind-speed conditions — feature a rotor diameter of 111.8 meters.
The manufacturer has also agreed to provide O&M services for an initial period of 12 years, according to an emailed statement.
New Delhi-based Orange Renewable expects to commission the project in fiscal 2016-17.
