Arthur Lavieri, CEO of Suzlon Energia Eólica do Brasil, met with officials from the state of Rio Grande do Sul, including Governor Tarso Genro, last week to discuss the project possibilities.
The Indian company presented a project for a two-turbine installation totaling 4.2MW in Tapes city.
Genro says he would like Suzlon to establish a local factory to promote development and jobs.
