Suzlon built the wind farm in Cheyenne, Wyoming for Duke Energy. It consists of 20 Suzlon S88 2.1 MW turbines. Duke now has 130 MW of installed power from Suzlon S88 turbines in Wyoming and West Texas.
Duke has power purchase agreements in place for Silver Sage’s output with Cheyenne Light Fuel & Power, a utility subsidiary of Black Hills Corp.,
