The partnership – calling itself Terra Nova Renewable Partners – will put up $209m of equity for the recently completed 148MW Oakfield wind farm and the under-construction 185MW Bingham wind project, both in Maine. The enterprise value of the deal is $787m.
Oakfield is currently the largest operational wind farm in New England, and Bingham will snatch that title when it reaches completion in 2016.
