The country’s energy secretary Alberto Nadal joined the Spanish wind association AEE and industry officials to unveil the relaunch plan, called PRIE.
The initiative is built around 15 measures designed to boost competitiveness, promote exports, back R&D and support domestic wind growth, which has ground to a halt in recent years.
Nadal said measures such as 500MW wind tender designed to restart growth would be repeated if it is successful.
