"This wind farm is one of the reasons Montana is on the map as a leader in wind energy development," says Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer.
Subsidiary NaturEner USA completed the first 106.5MW project phase in July 2008. The entire 210MW is now generating electricity for the state’s power grid, according to Schweitzer’s office.
San Diego Gas and Electric, an investor-owned utility in California, is purchasing some of the power produced at the Glacier wind farm.
