In the last several years, Southern Power has become a leading player in the utility-scale solar market with a 1.45GW portfolio.
This includes three PV projects in partnership with Recurrent Energy – Tranquility, 204MW, California; Garland, 200MW, California; and Roserock, 157MW, Texas. All three are due to reach commercial operation in the fourth quarter.
Southern Power is also co-owner of the 300MW Desert Stateline PV facility under construction in California with First Solar.
